Freeze-dried Flash Release

Many patients have problems such as insufficient swallowing ability or fear of needles, and freeze-dried flash release provides a new solution. Freeze-dried flash release formulation is a milestone in the new oral disintegrating tablets (ODTs), which subvert the traditional perception of people taking food, health products, and drugs.

Freeze-dried flash release tablets refer to a tablet that can be rapidly disintegrated or dissolved in the oral cavity without water. The ingredients can be absorbed through the oral cavity or esophageal mucosa, or can enter the gastrointestinal tract for action with the help of swallowing devices.

Our Services

Feirui Bio has developed large-scale drug and food freeze-dried "blink tech" with independent intellectual property rights. Freeze-dried flash release technology is the most advanced and advantageous preparation process for oral instant tablets. Protheragen Release, in cooperation with Feirui Bio, has a large-scale platform for freeze-dried flash release preparations. The technique we provide originated from the use of the vacuum freeze-drying technique by Gregory to fabricate drug carriers with high porosity in the laboratory. After years of technological innovation and iterative upgrading, we have the ability to manufacture freeze-dried flash release formulations with high porosity and excellent stability for industrial production.

Protheragen Release uses freeze-dried flash release technology to directly sublimate raw materials and excipients from solid to gas at low temperatures under vacuum to form a carrier with a loose and high pore structure. The freeze-dried flash release tablet with this structure can dissolve quickly when it encounters very little water, so it can disintegrate instantly in the saliva environment.

We creatively solved a series of key problems, such as the optimization of the cryogenic freezing process, the maintenance of high porosity and stability of dosage forms, the screening of key excipients such as skeleton agents and adhesives, and the development of flavor masking and correction technology. We finally realized the possibility of large-scale, industrialized and standardized production of freeze-dried flash release tablets.
